&lt;p&gt;Get ready to show off your department pride, appreciation, and creativity! The JMU CS Department is hosting a Spirit Week from Monday, November 17th, through Friday, November 21st! Join your fellow students for fun activities every day as we celebrate the CS community and prepare for the semester's end.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Monday, November 17th: Pink/Blue Out Day&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Theme: Wear pink or blue to support the CS and IT Departments&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Activity: Faculty Thank You Note Tabling from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM in the King Hall Atrium.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Tuesday, November 18th: Dress Up Like a Professor Day&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Theme: Find your best tweed and elbow patches!&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Contest Entry: To enter the "Best Dressed" contest, take a picture with the professor you're dressed up as and DM it to @jmucs on Instagram.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Activity: Faculty Thank You Note Tabling from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM in the King Hall Atrium.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Wednesday, November 19th: Anything But a Backpack Day&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Theme: Get creative! Carry your books in anything but a traditional backpack.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Thursday, November 20th: Spirit Rock Painting &amp;amp; Distribution&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Activity 1: Spirit Rock Painting from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Location TBD/Near King Hall).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Activity 2: CS/IT Ambassadors will distribute faculty thank you notes.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Friday, November 21st: Wear Purple Day&lt;/h2&gt;

Hey JMU CS students! 👋&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Computer Science Department is hosting a Stock Photo Shoot event and needs you to participate! We're looking to capture fresh, authentic images of our students in action—collaborating, coding, studying, and utilizing department resources.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These new photos will be used across JMU's websites, brochures, and promotional materials to showcase our vibrant community.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;What: A casual photo shoot to update the department's library of stock images.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Why: Help us visually represent the JMU CS experience&lt;/li&gt;
